INTRODUCING

YEW POINT AT HODSON BAY

Yew Point is a 145 acre regenerative tourism retreat currently under construction on a secluded peninsula in Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands. It is set to feature 36 architecturally elegant sustainably built cabins. Nestled within a Special Area of Conservation, the development will offer a deeply immersive experience that blends untouched natural beauty with modern ecological design and zero carbon practices. Guests will enjoy personalised hospitality, nature inspired accommodation and curated experiences such as forest bathing, foraging and wellness activities.

As construction progresses, the trails are temporarily closed to visitors. This measure is in place to ensure the safety of guests and staff while works are underway.

A SNEAK PEAK

Eco Tourism Resort

Guests will enjoy luxurious accommodation, spa treatments, wholesome dining, and cultural explorations, all while being encouraged to reflect on sustainable practices. Our cabins are built with eco-conscious materials and resting on low-impact screw pile foundations, the cabins preserve the forest floor and maintain the integrity of the delicate ecosystem. This innovative method ensures stability while minimising disruption to the environment.

YEW POINT AT HODSON BAY &

The 100 Million Trees Project

The Hodson Bay Group is contributing to the 100 Million Trees Project by planting trees at Yew Point, Hodson Bay. This national initiative, led by the Mulcahy siblings, aims to plant 100 million native Irish trees across Ireland using the Miyawaki method, a dense planting technique that accelerates growth, enhances biodiversity, and creates rapid carbon sinks. In partnership with the 100 Million Tree Project, the team at Hodson Bay Group have planted 12,500 trees, in addition to a further 2,500 planted by the team over the past 3 years.
